Staying Over?

How long should you stay in Brockenhurst?

We love where we live, and we just know you will fall in love with the place too. We think a stay of two nights is pretty perfect. A little less? You’ll have a great time (we promise), but there’s just so much to see and do in the New Forest that you’ll wish you had an extra night with us. Staying for longer? We’ll give you all the hints and tips to make sure Brockenhurst and the New Forest is on your places to re-visit list, time and time again.

What are the best things to do in Brockenhurst?

There’s so much to do. There’s the New Forest must-sees, like Beaulieu Motor Museum, the quaint waterside town of Lymington, or for animal lovers, Manor Farm Country Park. And then there are those simple must-dos like wandering the independent shops of Lyndhurst, a cream tea at The Buttery in Brockenhurst, and of course, simply exploring the New Forest and pony-spotting. And we love to share personal recommendations, so feel free to ask us when you’re here. We’re a super friendly bunch.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 3pm. If you arrive early and your room isn’t quite ready, there’s plenty of space in our charming pub (she’s a real beauty) to relax, have a bite to eat or a little tipple. Arriving early and want to head out? No problem, we’ll hold on to your bags until you’re back. Check-out is by 11am.

Do you have any family-friendly bedrooms?

We’ve got a handful of family-friendly bedrooms. The Family Comfy is a two-room bedroom that’s perfectly suited to families, with a king sized bed in the main bedroom and twin beds in the second room. Some of our Bigger Comfy’s also have space for fold-out beds for the little ones. Kids under 2 stay for free. 2-16 years are £15 per night.

Can I bring my dog to stay?

All our Bigger Comfy’s (found out in the Stable block) are dog-friendly. Just add your dog to your booking (up to two doggo’s can stay with you for £15 per night), and we’ll make sure they get a VIP welcome with tasty tail-wagging treats.

What time is breakfast?

Brekkie is served from 7.30am on weekdays, and 8am on weekends (we all deserve a little lie-in). If your room rate doesn’t include breakfast but you cant quite resist, fear not, walk-ins are very welcome.

Getting Here

Do you have any parking?

We’ve plenty of on-site parking available and one EV charging point. Both are available on a first-come first-parked basis.

How do I get to you via public transport?

We’re a 6-minute (gentle downhill) walk from Brockenhurst train station. Heading in via the airport? Southampton Airport is just a 30-minute car ride away.

Booking Bits

Can I cancel my booking?

We understand that plans sometimes change, so we try to make our booking policies super flexible. You can cancel or modify your booking up to 12pm the day before your arrival. If you cancel outside of this time or don’t show up, we’re sorry, but we’ll have to charge you for the first night of your stay. The only rate that’s not flexible is the Early Bird, this one’s non-refundable and non-amendable.

Can I make changes to my booking?

You can make changes to your booking up to 12pm the day before your arrival. This includes changes to your package, room and extras (as long as it’s available). The only rate that’s not flexible is the Early Bird, this one’s non-amendable.

Can I get a copy of my invoice?

Of course. When booking online, you have the option to send an invoice in step 2. Missed this step? Not to worry, just ask at Reception and the team will email you a copy. Checked out already? Pop us an email and we’ll send one right over.
